Ok, I'm officially addicted to DA... where's the support group @_@ My blog, super doodle at blogspot, was virtually sitting, unloved, unwanted.... so I KILLED IT OFF! Super Doodle is no more. And that's Okay I guess, since I couldn't check the stats, and I wasn't really using it. All my random stuff will be going up here from now on! I hope DA feels the love :D
---
I stumbled upon the band Bitter:Sweet last night while trying to find 'Dirty Laundry' by Don Henley on Google Video, and have become utterly enamored with their style ^w^ Instantly made them a station on PandoraDOTcom, and I just can't get enough!! Its playing all sorts of great Metro Cafe type jams and even the occasional stuff you could Salsa too (if you love to Salsa like I do). If you like bands like Bitter:Sweet, Zero 7, Jem, Gotan Project, and Sia, I highly recommend you making this station on your Pandora account. Your Ears will thank you for it :D

So, I've been posting a butt load of older stuff on DA, since I can no longer use my scanner ;^; Did I mention I have an Epson 1680 12 x 18 flatbed scanner... which has been reduced to a freakin oversized paper weight! I'm not really tech savvy, and I know there is some sort of plug in I need to find to make it work.... but who has the freakin' time for that!!! I just want the GD thing to WORK!!! I have a ton of Ball Point sketches I've done and no easy way to get them onto my computer. Maybe it will happen after we finish moving to our new place. I love that dang scanner, had it over 6 years now, and it has never given me 1 problem. This is what happens when I upgrade my system. Stupid new computer.
---
The moving to our new house has been real slow, been taking it over a bit at a time, since the new house is just down the street. Never do one of these kinds of moves if you can help it. Moves should be pulled off like Band aids, Quickly, with as little damage done as possible. Don’t get me wrong, It’s mad cheap, but the length of time has been torturous! We spent like 6-8 months fixing the place up, and cleaning it, and the past 2 months moving in! I just want to be Done already!!... I have to say the place is looking fantastic now :D And the end is nigh, Thank God! I see the end of the tunnel coming in about 2 weeks. Maybe then I can use my free time for something art related...

On the Bright Side, for those of you who don't know, I'm gonna be a DAD!!! My wife is around 7 months Pregnant, so in a couple of months (or less) we will be New Parents! YAY! We have been told by the 'Experts' at UNC hospital that we are gonna have a baby Girl! It took them 45 min. to figure this out, and my wife is carrying all in front (boy style if you believe the old wives tale) so we have not totally dismissed the possibility that the 'Experts' may have been wrong. We have prepared for a Girl though, and would love a baby girl. We have done the whole Baby Registry at Babies R Us, and already had one Baby Shower, with like 3 left to go... by the end we hope to either have all the items on our list, or enough gift cards and cold hard cash to buy the remaining items.

My Dad (a very wise man) said, Cash may sound tacky, but that all depends on how much cash we are talking about... the formula works like this. The Higher the amount of Cash, the less tacky! Easy Peasy :D

We have got the Nursery all set up with a Crib, Dresser and Recliner with ottoman (for Rockin' with the Baby). Got ourselves the stroller, and will be looking for a doll to put in it, so we can practice walking with our dogs... That may sound crazy, but we have been told it’s a great way to get dogs used to having to walk while you push a stroller. They will get any accidents out of the way before the baby is around to get seriously hurt. About 1/4 of the list of items has been bought, so we really may have everything!

My art production, of finished pieces, has slowed down to a crawl. Those of you who have been following my webcomic 'Obsolete' know this, and are probably grumbling while reading this. Hopefully those who have read some of the previous paragraphs will forgive the slow output for the reasons listed above. For the loyal followers, I would like to apologize profusely and thank you so much for being patient. As I said when leaving Wirepop, my life has gotten a bit more busy than in the past several years, and I am still getting used to all the stuff I have to do on a daily basis. It may just continue to get harder over the next few years (there IS a baby coming as of Mid May), and thankfully I haven't been laid off, like the 7000 other people who work were I work, so the bulk of my day will still be spent in a cubical, crunching numbers :) I will be trying to make a new page every chance I get, and will probably be posting it here, when I'm not posting other stuff. So please check back daily, as there will hopefully be something here for your amusement.

More Later!
~Chris

Hi, send me a note with exactly what you are looking for, and I will let you know if it is something I can do for you. When you say $20 per page are you talking about clip art, or full comic pages? Would the art you need be in Black and White or Color. If you are talking Comic Book type pages, $20 dollars isn't much. Industry standard for pencils alone is $100 per page, Inked pages $200, and Colored pages $300. Clip art is much cheaper. Prices are negotiable, so please send the details.
